Purpose Of This Blog

I'm setting up this blog in order to lay down for posterity how and why my family decided to adopt three girls from Peru. This blog will mostly consist of the e-mail I sent out to family and friends while we were in Peru going through the adoption process. However, I will also undertake to recall everything that lead up to the adoption and hopefully give some insight into what is required to adopt from Peru. Hopefully, this blog will help others who may be interested in adopting to understand and prepare for all the documentation, waiting, and excitement they are about to encounter in their adoption adventure.
